PVR to open digital cinema houses in Aurangabad, Latur
Mumbai, Dec 4 (UNI):PVR Cinema is all set to open three new digital multiplex cinema in Aurangabad and Latur.
Digital technology being introduced in these centres would go a long way in promoting Marathi cinema, a company official said adding the introduction of digital theatres, producers can digitise and screen movies using special digital projectors."
Industry experts say this digital projection technology will satisfy the b and c grade cinemas, but doesn't produce a picture quality as good as the A grade cinemas require.
