CALEA , Internet Back doors, Journalism Ethics- EFF.org

-FCC recent mandate for "backdoors" is fueled by recent Appeals Court petition by Communications Assistance to Law Enforcement Act (CALEA). Seeking expansion of information access to broadband ISPs and VoIP providers, CALEA is forcing the creation of insecure backdoors into networks for easier crime tracing and thereby violating innocent party privacies.
